Replacing Pulse Generator on Right Exhaust Camshaft (N62, N62TU)

12 14 513 - Replacing pulse generator on right exhaust camshaft (N62, N62TU)

(cylinder bank 1 to 4)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
- Switch off ignition
- Remove acoustic cover
- Remove right ignition coil cover





Release plug connector (1) and pull off.





Release screw.
Remove pulse generator (2).

Installation Note:
Replace sealing ring and coat with antiseize agent.





Note:
Now clear the fault memory.
