Eccentric Shaft Calibration
- The Digital Engine Electronics compare the smooth-running values of the two cylinder banks
- To improve the idle-running performance, the "slower' cylinder bank is accelerated by adjusting the eccentric shaft.
- The adjustment range is a maximum of 5 degrees.

System without faults
- For one bank, a value of 0 degrees ... 4.9 degrees is displayed.
- For the other bank, a value of 0 degrees is displayed.

System defective
- For one bank, a constant value of 5 degrees is displayed.
- In this case, the test module offers a correction.
