Replacing Baseplate for License Plate (Rear)

51 12 158 - Removing and installing/replacing baseplate for number/license plate (US)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear bumper trim





Release screws (1) and remove number/license plate baseplate.





Replacement:
Remove impact absorber (1).
If necessary, replace faulty metal nuts (2).
