SUBJECT
Center Console Lock Inoperative

MODEL
E93 (3 Series Convertible) produced up to March 2007.

SITUATION
The storage compartment in the center console may not lock when the central locking is operated.

CAUSE
Interference between the drive motor and locking mechanism of the center console lock actuator.

CORRECTION
On a customer complaint basis, replace the center console lock actuator.

PROCEDURE
Replace the center console lock actuator per repair instruction RA 67 11 610.

Please refer to the latest KSD for all applicable labor operations and allowances.
