34 41 250 Removing and installing/replacing expander lock for handbrake shoes

Special tools required:
^ 32 1 030

Note: Remove handbrake shoes.

Installation: After completing tasks, adjust handbrake.





Unclip handbrake lever trim (1) at rear and tilt forwards.
Lock adjuster unit (ASZE).
Use special tool 32 1 030 to press back the stop (2) of the adjusting spring until the restraining hook (3) snaps into place in the stop (2).





Pull expander lock (1) forwards, disconnect handbrake cable (2) and remove expander lock.
