54 34 ... Topping Up/Extracting Fluid, Checking Fluid Level

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow repair instructions for hydraulic system.
- Remove convertible top
- Convertible top placed on special tool.
- Remove acoustic insulation of hydraulic unit.







Checking fluid level:
- Close convertible top
- Position hydraulic unit vertically.
- Fluid level must be within the markings.

Topping up fluid:
- Open oil filler plug.
5AZ Oil filler plug to hydraulic unit 1 Nm
- Hold hydraulic unit vertically and pour in required amount of fluid from a fluid bottle.
- Check fluid level from time to time.

Extract fluid:
- Open oil filler plug.







5AZ Oil filler plug to hydraulic unit 1 Nm
- Hold hydraulic unit on its head over a tray and allow oil to flow out.
