51 11 156 Removing And Installing Front Bumper Trim

Special tools required:
- 00 9 317







Release screws in area (1) and remove strip (2).







Release expansion rivets (1) on left/right.

Release screws (1).
Build date from 01/2006:
Unfasten screws (2).







Installation:
Bumper trim is secured through opening (3) on left/right.







Unclip bumper trim (1) in area (2) on left/right in direction of arrow with special tool 00 9 317.
Version with headlight washer system: Have a rubber plug on hand.
Pull bumper trim (1) forwards slightly, disconnect right hose from T-distributor and seal with rubber plug.

Installation:
If necessary, top up washer fluid.

Version with fog lamps:
Pull bumper trim (1) forwards slightly and disconnect plug connections on fog lamp on left/right.
Remove bumper trim (1) straight forwards with a 2nd person helping.
