63 99 072 - Replacing Halogen Bulb for Left (or Right) Headlight

Note: Front wheel removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock fasteners�(1) by turning counterclockwise through 180 ° and fold up cover (2) in direction of arrow.






Lift locking bracket (1) out of mounts (2) and fold down in direction of arrow.

Feed out housing cover (3) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:
Ensure correctly seating of seal in housing cover (3) and of housing cover (3) in relation to headlight housing.






Note: Bulb holder (1) removed for purposes of clarity.

Turn bulb holder (1) in direction of arrow and pull back towards rear.

Installation:
Make sure retaining tabs (2) are correctly seated in headlight guide (3).






Detach bulb (1) from bulb holder (2).

Installation:
Note type of bulb.
