Warning!
Version with xenon headlights: Danger to life due to high voltage! Therefore, before removing, disconnect all components from the power supply (lighting system and ignition off).
Work on the entire xenon lighting system (control unit, ignition unit with bulb) may only be carried out by specialist personnel.

Note: Front wheel removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock fasteners�(1) by turning counterclockwise through 180 ° and fold up cover (2) in direction of arrow.






Lift locking bracket (1) out of mounts (2) and fold down in direction of arrow.

Feed out housing cover (3) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:
Ensure correctly seating of seal in housing cover (3) and of housing cover (3) in relation to headlight housing.






Disconnect plug connection (1).
Turn ignition unit for xenon headlight (2) approx.30 ° counterclockwise and detach from headlight (3).

Installation:
Make sure inner ring is correctly positioned in ignition unit for xenon headlight (2).






Unlock retaining bracket (1) on both sides.
Remove xenon light bulb (2) from headlight (3).

Installation:
Note type of bulb.

Make sure xenon light bulb (2) is correctly seated in headlight (3).
