51 11 770 Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Deformation Element For Front Bumper

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front bumper trim
- Remove carrier for bumper trim at front
- Remove underbody protection







Release screws (1) and remove strut (2).







Release screws (1).
Disconnect plug connections (2).







Release screw (1) and remove cover (2).







NOTE: View from below.

Release nuts (1 and 2).
6AZ Deformation element to body
M8 19 Nm







Release screw (1) and nuts (2 and 3).
Remove deformation element (4) towards front.
