Replacing Left or Right Air Reservoir

Caution:
Disconnect fuse on air supply system so that there is no unintentional system regulation.
Extreme cleanliness must be ensured during removal and installation of air line connections.
Even small dirt particles can cause leakage in the system.

Note:
Left and right air reservoirs differ.
No stamped into air reservoir - odd = left.
No stamped into air reservoir- even = right.





Release corresponding line on distributor block (blue = right side, red = left side) and retighten to tightening torque after pressure in system has reduced; if necessary, release distributor block beforehand.

Unscrew nuts.





Press plug-in coupling (1) downwards.
Press together retaining ring (2) and pull off quick coupling. Remove air reservoir.





Detach protective cap from new reservoir.
Check correct seating of sealing rings (1 - 2).

Caution:
Do not under any circumstances grease sealing rings.





Attach plug-in coupling (1), ensuring that snap ring (2) snaps audibly into place.
Mount air reservoir without subjecting pipe to torsion stress.
