Rubber Mount In Left or Right Control Arm

Caution: Align/adjust front axle after assembly.





Release nut and remove control arm from front axle support.

Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque:
Control arm to front axle support:
Jointing Torque: 100 Nm
Torque Angle: 90 ° ± 15 °
replace screw/nut
Tighten in empty weight on normal position





Tie control arm back with wire; this prevents ball joint from being damaged.
Remove and install rubber mount with special tools 31 1 051/052 and 33 3 051/052/054/310.

Installation:
Rubber mount and control arm bore free of grease.
Draw in rubber mount from chamfered side of control arm bore.

Installation:





Protrusion (A) = 5.75 ± 0.7 mm.
