Replacing Both Shafts of Electric Steering Column Adjuster

Remove lower section of steering column trim.





Unfasten screws.
Disconnect plugs from gong and On-Board Diagnosis.
Remove instrument panel trim.





To illustrate more clearly, operation is shown on a removed steering column.
Unfasten screws.
Twist plug out of mount and disconnect.
Remove gear motor.





Remove shaft.
