Replacing Wiring Harness Section For Fuel Injectors

Removing And Installing/Replacing Wiring Harness Section For Fuel Injectors On Left Or Right (N62)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery
Disconnect battery negative lead from battery and lay to one side
- Remove acoustic cover
- Remove ignition coil cover

NOTE:
The procedure is identical for both sides.
Illustrations show and descriptions refer to the left side.







Unfasten screws.
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Remove positioning motor for eccentric shaft.
Unlock plugs on fuel injectors and disconnect.
Remove wiring harness.

Check function of DME.
