Removing and Installing or Replacing Condenser for Air Conditioner


A/C system is drawn off.

Remove intake hood.

M54, M62 only:
Remove intake filter housing.







Release screws ( 1 ) and remove radiator bracket ( 2 ).

Detach rubber strip ( 3 ).







Release screws ( 1 ) and detach lines ( 2 ).

Installation:
Replace sealing rings.

Release screws ( 3 ).







Gently press cooler ( 1 ) towards rear and lift out A/C condenser ( 2 ).

Installation:
Lugs of plastic guides ( 3 ) must be securely engaged in bores.

Replace faulty plastic guides.

Installation:
If A/C system is opened for more than 24 Hours: Replace dessicator insert.
