Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

Removing and installing handbrake lever

Installation: After completing work, adjust handbrake.
Remove rear compartment fan.





Release lock nuts on Bowden cables and turn down completely.
Remove cover (1).
Detach cable for handbrake indicator switch by pressing down contact plate.
Press carpet floor to one side.
Release screws (2 and 3) and remove handbrake lever.
Installation:
- Handbrake lever to body 21 Nm
