Removing and Installing/Replacing Brake Pedal





Remove lower right trim from instrument panel.
If necessary, remove panel for pedal assembly.
If necessary, remove reinforcement plate and switch unit.

Note: After installation: Adjust brake light switch.





Raise lugs on retainers (1) and detach retainers.
Unhook spring (2).

Pull out retaining pin (1) and detach piston rod from brake pedal.
Remove brake pedal (2).





Installation: Check bearing bushes (1) and replace if necessary.
Apply a light coat of grease to bearing bushes (1) and bore.
