Removing and Installing Mounting Block For PedalsRemove lower right trim from instrument panel.
Remove panel for pedal assembly.
Vehicles with manual transmissions:
Remove reinforcement plate and switch unit.
Remove clutch switch.
Remove retainer (1) and press out retaining pin.
Caution: Do not detach pressure line from master cylinder.
Release screws (2) and set down clutch master cylinder in footwell.
Raise lug of retainer (1) and detach retainer.
Pull out retaining pin. Disconnect plug from brake light switch.
Caution: After installation: Adjust brake light switch.
Release screws (2).
Remove bearing pedestal.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
- Bearing pedestal to brake assembly and body 31 Nm
