Stop Light Switch (DME)

Stoplight Switch (DME/DDE)
In the case of this fault, the brake warning light lights up yellow.

Possible Cause(s) of Fault:
- Cable between stoplight switch and DME/DDE defective
- Stoplight switch defective

Storage Condition(s):
- The DME/DDE detects a fault on the stoplight switch and reports it to the control module for traction control.

Troubleshooting Procedure:
- If a corresponding fault is entered in the fault memory of the DME/DDE, this must be dealt with as a priority in the suggested test plans.
- Otherwise, the stoplight switch and the cables between the stoplight switch and DME/DDE must be checked.
