51 31 257 Replacing Seal For Hard Top Rear Window







IMPORTANT: Carefully unwind rubber frame (1) (rear window breakage).

NOTE:
- Tear-off lip (2) may be stuck to adhesive (3).
- When rubber frame (1) is removed, tear-off lip (2) can tear off and remain in vehicle.

Installation:
Replacement of seal without rear window removal:
Detach tear-off lip (2) from rubber frame (1).
If adhesive has managed to get onto bridge (3), this area must be cut out partially.
To facilitate installation, coat rubber frame (1) and hard top cutout with water.

Replacement of seal with removed or new rear window:
Detach tear-off lip (2) from rubber frame (1).
