34 33 505 Removing and Installing/Replacing Brake Booster (M3)

Note:
Read and comply with General Information.
Bleed brake system after completing tasks.
Remove brake master cylinder Service and Repair
Remove DSC3 precharging pump.
Remove cover from electrical box.
Remove brake pedal. Service and Repair





Unscrew nuts (1)

Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening torque 25 Nm






Note: Do not use force when removing and installing the brake booster as this may damage the booster.

Pull wiring harness (2) out of partition wall.
Carefully pull brake booster (1) out of bulkhead.
Remove brake unit vertically upwards out of equipment compartment.
