54 34 007 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Hydraulic Cylinder For Convertible Top Compartment Lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for repairing hydraulic system.
- Remove luggage compartment panel on right and left
- If necessary, remove tilt sensor (DWA)







Unclip center of trunk trim panel.







Unfasten screws and remove bracket.

Installation:
3AZ Carrier panel from drive for convertible top lock to convertible top 10 ± 1.5 Nm

Adjusting:
- Check basic setting of convertible to compartment lid.
- Slide holder as far forward as possible.
Convertible top must not rise
- Check convertible top compartment lid transitions







Detach retainer and remove pin.
Lay holder to one side.







Remove retainer and detach cylinder (1) from ball end.







Unclip hydraulic lines completely.







Remove cable strap.
Disconnect corresponding hydraulic lines (1...2).
