Fault description
System Too Rich at Higher Load (Bank 1)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Fuel-supply system monitored with aid of mixture
adaptation data; here upper part-load range (multiplicative
adaptation), system too rich
Release conditions:
- No active EVAP air discharge
- No faults that disable diagnosis are present
- Relative charge (load) > 55 %
- Mass airflow > 250 kg/h
- Compliance with temperature conditions
Terminal condition: Engine running
Voltage condition:
battery voltage < 11 volts or battery voltage > 16 volts

Condition for fault memory entry
Approximately 10 min.

Action in service
High fuel pressure
Check positive crankcase ventilation
Check HFM (contamination, defective)
Check oxygen sensors before cat.
