Fault description
Radiator Shutter (Lower) Electrical

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
1. Passive cooling flap control must be initialized.
Operation of lower flap:
3 x open and 3 x closed
Or conduct the system test
Terminal condition: Terminal 15 ON
Voltage condition:
Voltage in onboard electrical system > 10 V

Condition for fault memory entry
up to 20 sec.

Action in service
1. Check wire from active cooling flap control PIN 4 to
passive cooling flap control (+ terminal)
2. Check ground connection on the passive cooling flap
control
3. Check retainer solenoid (internal short or burned through)
