Camshaft Position Sensor 'B' Circuit High (Bank 1)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Flank number within three camshaft revolutions 0 or 1 and
HIGH signal level
Terminal condition: Terminal 15=TRUE
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
5 camshaft revolutions

Action in service
Check voltage supply (T87) + and ground connection for
sensor, signal wire to DME; check sensor installation; if
OK, replace sensor

US: MIL on in 2nd driving cycle
ECE: No MIL
VVT emergency default mode (max. stroke) active
VANOS emergency default mode (spec. 120�) active
