Oxygen sensor heating before catalytic converter

Fault description
O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Sensor ceramic temperature monitor detects reduced heater
performance at oxygen sensor before cat. (no fault in heater
wiring) during heating following engine start and period for
registering operational status
Diagnosis conditions:
- No overrun cutoff
- Off at least 2 min.
- No other O2 sensor faults
Terminal condition: Engine running
Voltage condition:
battery voltage<11V oder Ubatt > 16 volts

Condition for fault memory entry
35 sec.

Action in service
Check plug / wiring harness, replace O2 sensor
