Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, electrical fault

Fault description
O2 Sensor Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Composite fault for general electr. fault at LSU; faults are
also stored individually to trigger MIL as prescribed by law;
4 categories are involved:
- Ceramic temperature too low (<630�C)
- Innenwiderstand der Sonde zu hoch (> 1800 ohms)
- Heater fault (not driver circuit defect)
- Wiring defect at LSU; detected through CJ125
Terminal condition: Terminal 15 or engine operation
Voltage condition:
battery voltage<11V oder Ubatt > 16 volts

Condition for fault memory entry
If one of the fault criteria is present and/or after storage of
individual fault -> Fault code recorded after 0.2 sec.

Action in service
Check plug / wiring harness, replace O2 sensor
