Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Below battery voltage measured by IBS, below 16 volts for
at least 10 sec.
Terminal condition: Terminal 15 with engine running
Voltage condition:
DME operating range

Condition for fault memory entry
none

Action in service
Has vehicle been jump-started? Fault counter =1 and fault
not currently present, then delete stored fault codes from
log.
Otherwise check electrical system voltage, if voltage >16V
replace alternator
