SUBJECT
SDARS Sirius Radio is Inoperative After Programming
MODEL
E90, E91 (3 Series) with RAD2
From 09/2005 to 03/2006
SITUATION
The SDARS Sirius radio is inoperative after Programming the vehicle with Progman V24.00.00, V24.01.00 or V24.01.01.
- Only previously listened to station is active and cannot be changed
- Station name is not displayed
CAUSE
The updated RAD2 software is not compatible with the old-style SDARS Receiver.
CORRECTION
Do not replace parts!
Update the vehicle with Progman V24.02.01 per SI B09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization, Programming), Procedure B.
