Important! After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove transmission oil sump.





Pull off plug (1).
Unscrew bolt (2).
4AZ Pulse sender A5S 310Z / M5 5 Nm
A5S 440Z A5S 560Z M5 6 Nm
M8 23 Nm
A5S 360R / A4S 360R M6 11 Nm
A5S 300J M5 6 Nm

Withdraw pulse generator (3).
Read out fault memory of EGS control unit. Check stored fault messages, eliminate faults and then clear fault memory.
