Resetting the Service Interval Display




Resetting the Service Interval Display (distance-based inspection)

1. Insert ignition key, leave in position "0"





2. Press and hold the trip-odometer reset button -red arrow- and turn the ignition lock into position 1 (terminal R). Continue to hold the trip-odometer reset button until the following occurs.



2a- The input mask for the test functions is displayed.



2b- The service status is displayed.
- SIA OIL SERVICE or INSPECTION and the remaining distance are shown.
- If the minimum limit has been reached, "Reset" will now flash in the display for 5 seconds.

NOTE:
- The remaining distance is displayed with "Reset" if the coded minimum consumption limit has been reached and can be reset.
- If the remaining distance is displayed without "Reset", the coded minimum consumption limit has not been reached and no "Reset" is possible.




3. To confirm the reset press and release the trip-odometer button.

NOTE: This step must be completed within the 5 second time frame, while the display is flashing "Reset".




After the reset is complete, the new remaining distance is displayed for 5 seconds.

NOTE:
- If resetting is not required, the old remaining distance can be retained by releasing the button and waiting for the flashing sequence to elapse.
- The old remaining distance is displayed for 5 seconds.


4. To exit reset mode, turn ignition to position "0" and release key.
