Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair

24 33 510 - Replacing solenoid valve 1, 2 or 3 (A5S 360R/390R/A4S 200R)





Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level Procedures.
Use only the approved transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove transmission oil sump Service and Repair.





Disconnect plug from solenoid valve.
Remove retaining spring and withdraw solenoid valve (1, 2 or 3).

Installation:
Coat new solenoid valve with automatic transmission fluid.

Caution!
Note position of wiring harness.
