Replacing Pressure Regulator for Converter Lockup Clutch (AS5 360R/390R/A4S 200R)

24 32 550 - Replacing pressure regulator for converter lockup clutch (AS5 360R/390R/A4S 200R)





Important!
After completion of work, check transmission oil level Procedures.
Use only the approved transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Loosen shift unit 24 30 009 - Removing and installing/replacing selector unit (A5S 360R/390R, A4S 200R) by untwisting (approx. 4 turns) all 8 outside torx screws and 1 hexagon screw.





Remove retaining spring.
Pull out pressure regulator (1) for converter lockup clutch.

Installation:
Coat new pressure regulator (1) for converter lockup clutch with automatic transmission fluid.
