63 99 072 - Replacing halogen bulb for left (or right) headlight





Warning!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- N46 driver's side:
Partially remove intake filter housing
- All front passenger sides:
Partially remove fluid tank for windscreen washer system Service and Repair





Note:
Headlight (2) removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock cover (1) in direction of arrow.
Remove cover (1) from headlight (2).

Installation Note:
Make sure cover (1) is correctly seated on headlight (2).
Guides must be exactly seated in associated mounts.





Unclip bulb (1) by pressing on plug (2).
Disconnect plug connection and remove bulb (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation Note:
Insert bulb (1) in headlight at bottom at first and then tilt upwards until bulb snaps audibly into place.
Make sure bulb (1) is exactly seated in headlight.
Note type of bulb Specifications.
