Remove outer window cavity cover strip for rear door window.
Lower side windows and opening convertible soft top.







Release screws (1) and remove window cavity cover plate (2).
Close side window.







NOTE: Screws and nut drop down slightly; secure with body sealing compound if necessary.

Release screws (1) with Torx T30. Release nut with special tool 41 6 120.
Hold window (2) and carefully lower window lift approx. 120 mm.
Remove window (2) by lifting upwards.







Installation:
Preadjust measurements (C) and (D) (window glass breakage); only then should you actuate the window lift.
Measurement (C) = 12 mm
Measurement (D) = 13 mm







Installation:
Initial adjustment of pretension:
Preset outer adjusting screw (1) until flush.
Check function.
Adjust rear side window.
