Ball Joint: Service and Repair

Replacing One Ball Joint In Trailing Arm
Trailing Arm Removed

Remove trailing arm, refer to 33 32 000.

Remove guard plate.





Measure and note protrusion (A) of old ball joint.





Pull out ball joint using special tools 33 3 331 / 332 / 333.





Pull in new ball joint (1) up to previously measured protrusion (A) using special tools 33 3 332 / 333 / 334.
