Requirement:
Following components are properly installed and adjusted:
- Luggage compartment lid
- Seals
- Bowden cables for for convertible top compartment lid locks
- Convertible top compartment lid locks

Open convertible top completely.
Ideal setting, refer to Gap dimension, body.







Adjustment with regard to rear lid:
Release nuts (3) and (4).
Height differential:
Adjust convertible top compartment lid (6) to rear lid with adjustment plate (2).
Length differential:
Move convertible top compartment lid (6) by way of hinge (5) and center at sides.







Close soft top compartment cover.
Determine difference in height between front of convertible top compartment cover and side panels on left and right sides.







Adjustment with respect to side walls:
Release nuts (2) on brace (3).
Fold down convertible top lid onto convertible top lid locks.
Adjust brace (3) at sides so that rotary latches engage strikers in center.
Adjust height differential of convertible top compartment lid with adjustment plate (1).
If necessary, adjust convertible top compartment lid locks.
