Convertible Top Deck Lid Latch: Adjustments

51 25 029 Adjusting Left Or Right Convertible Top Compartment Lid Lock

Prerequisite:
Following components are properly installed and adjusted:
- Convertible top compartment lid
- Seals
- Bowden cable for for convertible top compartment lid lock







Open side windows.
Unlock soft top and raise over dead center.
Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.







Slacken screws on convertible top compartment lock (1).
Close soft top compartment lid.
Striker (2) centers convertible top compartment lock (1) by means of wedge shape (3).
Tighten down screws.







Striker (1) must immerse at distance (A) into rotary latch (2).
Measurement (A):
A approx. 3 mm
