51 43 012 Removing And Installing Upper Section Of Side Trim Panel At Rear (Convertible) Left Or Right

Open side windows, convertible cover and convertible top cover compartment.
Remove insert on side trim panel.







Unfasten rivet (1) and pull cover (2) out of mucket (3).







Unhook spring (1) from linkage (2).







Release screws (1).
Partly pull off mucket (2).
Detach upper section of side trim panel (3) towards top/inside.







Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) on upper section on side trim panel (3).
Screws (4) must be correctly screwed down to cover (5).
Acoustic insulation (2) must not be damaged.
