Removing and Installing/Replacing Centre Muffler

18 12 045 - Removing and installing/replacing centre muffler (N62, N62TU)





Special tools required:
- 00 2 210 00 2 210 Exhaust Pipe Cutter





Warning!
Scalding hazard!

Only perform these tasks after exhaust system has cooled down.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove exhaust system Service and Repair.





Cut exhaust pipes with special tool 00 2 210 00 2 210 Exhaust Pipe Cutter at marked points and deburr.

Replace centre muffler (2).





Connect centre muffler and front muffler by means of clamping sleeves.





Connect centre muffler to rear muffler by means of clamping sleeve.
