Warning!
Scalding hazard!
These tasks should only be carried out on an exhaust system that has cooled down!





The cutting line between rear muffler and center muffler is indicated by a center mark on the underside.





Cut the exhaust pipe with special tool 00 2 210 at the marked point and deburr.





Unfasten screw connection. Remove front pipe holder.

Installation Note:
After complete installation of exhaust system, align front pipe holder so that it is free from tension.





Loosen the bolt connection of the flange on the exhaust manifold.

Installation Note:
Replace gaskets.
Replace self-locking nuts.





Release screw connection of holder for center muffler on rear differential.
Remove center muffler.





Installation Note:
Align exhaust system and clamping sleeve in such a way that there is sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Connect new rear muffler and center muffler by means of clamping sleeve.

Note:
Cutting point is in middle of clamping sleeve.
