Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

11 43 000 - Removing and installing/sealing guide tube for oil dipstick (M54)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Drain off engine oil
- Remove intake hose Service and Repair





Release screw on guide tube holder.
Remove return hose on oil dipstick guide tube.
Remove guide tube upwards.





Installation:
- Remove sealing ring from oil sump.
- Coat new sealing ring with anti-friction agent and slide onto guide tube.
- Insert guide tube into oil sump.
