Replacing DSC3 Precharging Pump (M3)

Note:
Bleed brake system after completing tasks.
Remove heater bulkhead.
Remove expansion tank.
Remove brake master cylinder.





Remove seal (1) towards top.





Remove vacuum line and B + line from assembly compartment partition wall.
Turn fasteners (1) through 90° and thus unlock. Remove assembly compartment partition wall (2) towards top.
Installation: When installing the vacuum line and B + line, ensure rubber grommets are correctly seated.





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect. Release screw (2).
Installation:
All screws to precharging pump and bracket 8 Nm
.
Lift precharging pump (3) out of rubber mount.
Installation:
Pipe (1).
Brake hose couplings (Thread M10X1) 17-19 Nm
Brake hose couplings (Thread M12x1) 17-19 Nm
Intake pipe (2).
Banjo bolt 8 Nm







Installation: Make sure pins of precharging pump are correctly seated in rubber mount (1).
