Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair

Removing and installing / replacing clutch pedal

Remove panel and reinforcement plate.
Remove clutch switch.





Note: Check function after installation.

Remove clips (1).
Release screws (2) and press out retaining pin for clutch master cylinder.

Caution: Do not detach pressure line from clutch master cylinder.

Set down clutch master cylinder in footwell.
Detach retainer (3) for over-center helper spring.





Detach clutch pedal (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation:





Check bearing bushes (1) and replace if necessary.
Apply light coat of grease to bearing bushes (1) and bore (2).
