SUBJECT
Removal of the Center Console Telephone Support

MODEL
E63/B64 6 Series Coupe and Convertible

SITUATION
Vehicles produced up to March 2004 are equipped with Telephone Support for the Eject Box installed in the Center Console. BMW Mobile Telephone is not standard equipment.

CORRECTION
On a customer complaint basis for the customer who does not want to have BMW Mobile Telephone installed, please follow the procedure below to remove the telephone support bracket.

PROCEDURE





Open the Telephone Support by pressing the release button.





Carefully remove the Cubby Base (1) and Side Cover (2).





Remove the Telephone Support by removing the two T20 screws (1).





Install a new Center Console Cubby Base, part number 51 16 7 115 365.
