33 53 000 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right coil spring

Special tools required:
^ 31 3 341
^ 31 3 357

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove and disassemble rear spring strut shock absorber





Twist on special tool 313 341 (tension on coil spring is relieved).

Installation:
Mount new coil spring on special tool 313 357. Position the coil spring so that both ends of the spring lie outside special tools 313 357 by approximately one turn (W).

Replacement only:
Replace coil springs in pairs only for each axle with the same part number.
Coil springs are allocated according to vehicle type, launch date and optional extras (see parts microfiche).
