31 33 100 Removing and installing/replacing coil spring for left or right front spring strut

Special tools required:
^ 31 3 341
^ 31 3 354
^ 31 3 355

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove and disassemble front spring strut





Twist on special tool 313 341 (tension on coil spring is relieved).
Remove coil spring from special tools 31 3 354 and 313 355.

Installation:
Accommodate upper spring plate and coil spring with special tools 313 354 and 313 355. Here bottom end of coil spring (1) must be flush with end (2) of special tool 313 355.





Note: Replace coil springs in pairs only for each axle with the same part number (1).
