Replacing Dynamic Drive Valve Block

37 20 001 Removing and installing/replacing DYNAMIC DRIVE valve block

Important! Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
^ Seal off pipe connections with plugs.

After installation:
^ Fill and bleed hydraulic system
^ Check pipe connections for leaks
^ Carry out initial DYNAMIC DRIVE operation.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Draw off and dispose off hydraulic fluid from fluid reservoir
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations
^ Remove bottom right wheel arch trim
^ Partially remove right underbody paneling





Release nuts (1..2) (pressure lines to rear axle oscillating motor).
Tightening torque; Control lines for oscillating motor, rear, to valve block 35 Nm
Release nut (3) (return line)
Tightening torque; Return line to valve block 40 Nm
Release nut (4) (pressure line)
Tightening torque; Pressure line Dynamic Drive circuit to valve block 35 Nm
Release nuts (5..6) (pressure lines to front axle oscillating motor).
Tightening torque; Control lines for oscillating motor, front, to valve block 35 Nm





Partially detach front right wheel arch trim.
Unlock and disconnect plugs (1..2).





Unfasten screws.
Tightening torque; Valve block to holder 8 Nm
Carefully remove valve block from body holder.
Unlock and disconnect all plugs on valve block.
Remove wiring harness from valve block.
Remove grounding strap from valve block.
