Removing and Installing Pressure Lines For Oscillating Motor/Front Axle
3713100 Removing and installing/replacing pressure lines for oscillating motor/front axleSpecial tools required:

Important: Make sure all parts are absolutely clean. No dirt is allowed to enter the system. Seal off line connections with special tool 32 1 270 (plug). After installation: Carry out initial dynamic drive operation.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove front right wheel.
^ Remove stabilizer link from spring strut.
^ Remove lower wheel arch trim at front right.
Detach control lines (1) and (2) from valve block.
Installation:
Pipes are protected against being mixed up (different thread diameters).
Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
Release union nuts.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm.
Release pipe holder.
Installation:
Replace pipe holder.
Make sure lines are correctly seated in holder.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm.
Release screw of rubber mount for pipes on engine carrier at front right.
Installation: Tightening torque: 8 Nm.
Carefully detach rubber mount (two-part) from longitudinal member.
Caution: Make sure rubber mount is correctly seated. Make sure pipes (1) and (2) are correctly seated. Do not kink or crush pipes. Lines must be laid so that they are free of tension.
Detach pipes (1) and (2) from oscillating motor (3).
Installation:
Pipes are protected against being mixed up (different thread diameters).
Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
Feed pipes (1) and (2) out of longitudinal member.
Important: Pipes must not be kinked or bent.
Installation:
Position of pipes is determined by their shape.
Important: Pipes must not touch each other when they are installed as this would cause noises.
