Removing and Installing Pressure Line For Oscillating Motor/Rear Axle

371311 0 Removing and installing/replacing pressure line for oscillating motor/rear axle
Special tools required:
^ 321270

Important: Make sure all parts are absolutely clean. No dirt is allowed to enter the system. Seal off line connections with special tool 32 1 270 (plug). After installation: Carry out initial dynamic drive operation.

Remove lower wheel arch trim at front right.
Remove right underbody protection.
Remove rear right wheel arch trim.





Control lines on valve block:
Unscrew nuts. Remove pipes (1) and (2).
Installation:
Pipes are protected against being mixed up (different thread diameters).
Tightening torques:
Control lines (1) and (2) on valve block: 35 Nm.
Connecting nuts control lines (1) and (2): 30 Nm.





Control lines, underfloor:
Unscrew nuts.
Installation: Tightening torque: 30 Nm.

Release line holders (1).
Installation:
Make sure lines are correctly seated in holder.
Replace pipe holder.
Tightening torque 8 Nm.

Control lines on rear axle:
Release union nuts.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm.
Slacken nut (1).





Tightening torque: 8 Nm.

Remove pipes.





Release union nuts.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm.
Unfasten screws (1).
Tightening torque: 8 Nm.





Unfasten screws (1).
Tightening torque: 8 Nm.
Remove stabilizer from rear axle carrier.
Disconnect lines.
